We guide you from the emerald-green, cannabis-scented valleys of Parvati, over the formidable 17,457 ft pass, and into the stark, moon-like landscapes of Spiti. This journey is a raw confrontation with the elements—featuring thigh-deep river fords, rapidly changing weather, and high-altitude camping. It demands resilience, but rewards with unparalleled solitude, breathtaking vistas, and the profound satisfaction of completing one of India’s most challenging and iconic treks.

- Day 1: Arrival in Manali (2,050m)
  - Arrive at the Himalayan Back Country Adventures base in Old Manali. Gear check, briefing with our lead guide, and final preparations.
- Day 2: Drive from Manali to Barsheni (2,100m); Trek to Rudranath (3,600m)
  - A scenic 4-hour drive to the trailhead at Barsheni. Begin trekking alongside the roaring Parvati River, through villages and forests, to the campsite at Rudranath.
- Day 3: Rudranath to Thakur Kuan (3,600m)
  - A relatively relaxed day through dense pine forests and sprawling meadows. Ideal for acclimatization.
- Day 4: Thakur Kuan to Odi Thach (4,200m)
  - The trail climbs above the tree line into alpine pastures. Witness the dramatic change in terrain and prepare for the challenges ahead.
- Day 5: Odi Thach to Mantalai Lake (4,400m)
  - A steep climb leads to the sacred and stunning Mantalai Lake, source of the Parvati River. Camp in the shadow of towering peaks.
- Day 6: Acclimatization & Exploration at Mantalai
  - A critical rest day for acclimatization. Optional short hikes to nearby ridges. This day is crucial for success on the pass.
- Day 7: Mantalai to Pin Parvati Base Camp (4,900m)
  - A short but strenuous climb over moraine and boulders to the stark base camp below the pass. Early dinner and rest.
- Day 8: Summit Day: Base Camp to Campsite via Pin Parvati Pass (5,320m)
  - The Ultimate Challenge. Pre-dawn start for the grueling 6-8 hour ascent over snow/rock to the pass. Celebrate the epic achievement before the long, technical descent on the Spiti side to our campsite.
- Day 9: Spiti Descent to Mudh (3,800m)
  - Descend further into the dramatic, arid Pin Valley. The landscape transforms completely. Camp near the village of Mudh.
- Day 10: Drive from Mudh to Manali
  - A long, spectacular drive (8-9 hours) over the Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass back to Manali. Celebration dinner.
- Day 11: Departure from Manali
  - Expedition concludes after breakfast.

Accommodation: High-quality alpine tents (twin-sharing), sleeping mats. Manali stay on Day 1 & 10. Sustenance: All meals from Day 1 dinner to Day 11 breakfast. Nutritious, high-energy vegetarian meals prepared by our expedition cook. Safety: Comprehensive first-aid medical kit, portable oxygen cylinders, satellite phone for emergencies. Support: Pack animals (mules/horses) for carrying common equipment (tents, food). Personal porter service available at extra cost. Transport: All road transfers as per itinerary (Manali-Barsheni and Mudh-Manal) in robust vehicles.	Personal porter for backpack (can be arranged separately). Special Terms & Notes

Fitness Mandate: This is an extreme-grade trek. Participants must have prior high-altitude trekking experience (above 14,000 ft) and be in peak physical condition. A fitness certificate and detailed trekking resume are required.
No Compromise on Safety: Himalayan Back Country Adventures reserves the sole right to alter the itinerary or turn back any participant at any point based on weather, trail conditions, or fitness. The leader’s decision is final.
Weather & Delays: Mountain weather is unpredictable. Buffer days are built-in, but participants must have flexible travel plans. We are not liable for missed flights/buses due to delays.
Eco-Expedition: We follow strict Leave No Trace principles. All waste is carried back. Participants are expected to comply.
Booking: A 50% non-refundable advance confirms your slot. Full payment due 30 days before expedition start.
