General Itinerary :
- Day 01 : Arrive Delhi or Chandigarh/ Manali (560/ 300 kms/ 14 – 9 hrs)
- Day 02 : In Manali – Today we take a preparatory cum acclimatization trek.
- Day 03 : Manali/ Naggar (20 kms)/ Stiling (3 hr trek)
- Day 04 : Stiling/ Camp I (3400 m) over Chanderkhani Pass 3660 m (4 hrs trek)
- Day 05 : Camp I/ Nag Ruhni 3430 m (4 hrs trek)
- Day 06 : Nag Ruhni/ Khiksa Thach 3450 m (4 hrs trek)
- Day 07 : In Khiksa Thach – Today we make a day hike Malana glacier (3 hrs walk one way)
- Day 08 : Khiksa Thach/ Malana 2652 m (5 hrs trek)
- Day 09 : Malana/ Malana Dam (1.5 hrs trek) Manali 2050 m (100 kms)
- Day 10 : In Manali – Day free for independent activities
- Day 11 : Depart Manali
A tour involving 7 days of trekking. The tour starts with a visit to a few villages around Manali to view the local life style and culture of people. During the first day of trekking, we also visit Naggar which was once the capital of rulers of Kullu and camp near a village. Located at an altitude of 2652 m, Malana is said to be the oldest democracy of the world and is one of the remotest village of Himachal Pradesh. Demanding glaciers around this village also make this route a special one. Chanderkhani pass (3660 m) offers a magnificient view of various mountain peaks of Kullu, Lahaul and Bara Bhangal ranges.
